I had the opportunity to mentor Soumya during her transition into UX, and she was a standout student in every sense. Soumya’s background in engineering and front-end development, combined with her experience as a yoga instructor and business owner, gives her a unique perspective and a highly adaptable mindset. She consistently demonstrated strong collaboration skills by engaging with peers, asking thoughtful questions, and seeking feedback to improve her work.

Soumya approaches new challenges with energy, curiosity, and discipline. She picked up design tools quickly and brought a structured, detail-oriented approach to her projects. Her ability to connect design solutions to real user needs, along with her willingness to go above and beyond to learn, sets her up for future success as a designer.
